Reminding yourself why you're saying no can help you be firm. A review can also help you come up with a tactful explanation if the person asks for one. Although you don't have to justify why you don't want to go out with a person, you might have to nip further invitations in the bud. You can do this by prayerfully considering your reasons. Why prayerfully? To avoid hurting the other person unduly; to ask God to help you know what to say; to make sure you're being honest with yourself.
